Automotive History.

The early 1980s saw domestic makers losing ground to more practical, reliable and efficient imports. Small four-cylinder hatchbacks like the Honda CRX, Volkswagen GTI and the Toyota Corolla GT-S helped give birth to the now popular import tuner scene. However, domestics in the 1980s still had a few glimmers of light thanks to the extremely rare and already classic turbocharged 1987 Buick GNX.
